How I Started


                When I was young my parents will drive hours just to go to a new restaurant to eat and.  My dad likes to do different things, adventures, visit new places, travel every year and going to restaurants was always on the top list.  This made me start to eat different varieties of products and love to eat.  The problem was that as soon I started to be on my 20’s my body started to accumulate fat and having my first child did not help on my weight.  By the time I was 24 I was 145 pounds, a mother of two, I was finishing my associate degree on International Baking and Pastry and got divorced.  I decide that I needed a change and the only way to start was by fixing  my eating habits, but, how can I eat clean but still enjoy delicious food? I always heard people talking about diets and how they never finish it and how nasty and unsavory is to eat healthy so I decided to do my own search and find ways to eat better but still be able to eat delicious.  By my surprise eating healthy is not difficult and bad at all!!! All I needed to do is use more spices and herbs which are not full of fat to make my meals taste amazing.  I learn to substitute a few ingredients so I could cut my calories more than half and enjoy what I love such as French fries by seasoning them with olive oil, garlic power and some parsley and I baked them instead of frying them.   I also got my Sunday cheat day which helps me to be able  to  just go out with my kids and eat guilt free, cut off the sodas and juices to cut calories on my meals and feel  better about eating something not that healthy.  This little things work amazing on me and before I knew it I was losing weight and still eating amazing and delicious meals.

       Cómo commence


       Cuando era niña, mis padres conducían horas para ir a un nuevo restaurante para comer.  Mi papá le gusta hacer cosas diferentes, aventuras, visitar nuevos lugares, viajar todos los años e ir a los restaurantes era siempre en la lista de arriba. Esto me hizo empezar a comer diferentes variedades de productos y amar la comida.  El problema era que empecé  mis 20 y  mi cuerpo empezó a acumular grasa y tener mi primer hijo no ayudó.  Para el momento que tenía 24 años pesaba 145 libras, era madre de dos, estaba terminando mi grado asociado en Panadería y Repostería Internacional y me divorcié.  Decidí que necesitaba un cambio y la manera de empezar era fijando mi alimentacion, pero, ¿cómo puedo comer limpio, y disfrutar de una deliciosa comida? Siempre oí mal de las dietas y que nunca terminan y lo desagradable que es.  Comence mi propia búsqueda y encontrar maneras de comer mejor y delicioso.  Por mi sorpresa, comer sano no es difícil y no sabe mal!!! Todo lo que tenía que hacer es usar especias y hierbas, no están llenos de grasa, para hacer mis comidas con un sabor increíble. Aprendí a sustituir algunos ingredientes para que pudiera cortar mis calorías más de la mitad y disfrutar de lo que me gusta como las papas fritas al sazonarlas con aceite de oliva,  ajo, perejil y  horneadas en lugar de freírlas.  Escogí mi Domingo de trampa, la cual salgo con mis hijos y como libre de culpa, corte sodas y jugos para reducir las calorías y sentirme mejor acerca de comer algo no saludable. Estas pequeñas cosas funcionan increíbles en mí y antes de que me diera cuenta estaba perdiendo peso y estaba disfrutando de comidas increíbles y deliciosas.
