Hi there ! Hope you are doing great and exited about making this delicious vegan pancakes. This pancakes are prouf that you dont need to support cruelty to eat good. I tried these recipe and it worked perfectly for me even tho i did make on mi own some changes to make it healthier with are going to be the second option i will give you when you read the ingridients.
Also this is so easy to make that you can involve your kids to cook with you, my kids had develop the same cooking pasion that i have and this recipe was perfect to let them help me. Hope you enjoy your pancakes and here we go!
Healthy Vegan Pancakes
Go organic on all the ingredients you can.
- 1 1/4 cups oats flour
- 1 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups almond milk
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
In a bowl mix in the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking power and salt) and in another bowl mix the wet ones (water, maple syrup and oil). Pour in two badges the water mixture in the flour mixing it till you mix all of it together and mixture looks lumpy. Pour about a cup of the mix on a cooking pan and cook till top forms bubbles and then turn and cook about a minute or two. Serve with fresh fruits and maple syrup.
In a pan lithly sprayed with cooking spray or a vegan butter and drop a big spoonfull of batter or just go how you like it. In my case i like thin pancakes but i know other people loves them thick so just go with your taste on this and just let them cook till golden brown and then turn and wait till golden brown again.
To control the sugar portion since already has sugar on it, go for a natural sweetner like maple syrup or organic honey, i also topped with some fresh fruit to add some healthy stuff to my breakfast. My kids loved them !
