Homemade Granola/Granola Hecha en Casa


Had you ever notice how much sugar does grocery stores granolas have? Well as a health freak I have, and let me told you that is something I do not want on my snacks, especially for my boys.  I had come with a easy homemade granola that is more healthy for you and no sugar added but only sweetened with natures love.


Ingredients for the Homemade Granola

  • 3 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1/3 cup Cashews
  • 1/3 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp of Chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup Grapeseed Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Flakes
  • 1/3 cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1/3 cup of raisins
  • 1/3 cup of pomegranate seeds


  • Preheat oven to 300ºF.In a large baking sheet, combine rolled oats, pumpkin seeds, cashews, chia seeds, cinnamon and salt.


  • In a separate bowl, stir the maple syrup and oil.
  • Pour wet ingredients over the oats, and mix well.


  • Pour the granola onto a rimmed sheet pan and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Then add the shredded coconut flakes mix well and bake again for another 20 minutes or till golden brown.


  • Pour the cranberries, raisins and pomegranate seeds, mix well.


  • Let the granola cool completely, then store in an airtight container at room temperature.
  • Enjoy on an acai bowl, with yogurts, or just as is.
  • You can also serve with fresh fruits and whipped coconut whipped cream.



    ¿Habías notado cuánto azúcar tienen las granolas del supermercado? Bueno, como  fanatica de la salud que soy déjame decirte que es algo que no quiero en mis aperitivos, especialmente para mis hijos. Yo decidí crear una granola casera super fácil que es más saludable para usted y sin azúcares añadido y simplemente endulzado con el amor de la naturaleza.
Ingredientes para la granola casera
• 3 tazas de avena
• 1/2 taza de semillas de calabaza
• 1/3 taza de Anacardos
• 1/3 taza de jarabe de arce puro
• 2 cucharadas de semillas de Chia
• 1/4 taza de aceite de semilla de uva
• 1/2 cucharadita de sal marina
• 1 cucharadita de canela
• 1/2 taza de copos de coco
• 1/3 taza de arándanos secos
• 1/3 taza de pasas
• 1/3 taza de semillas de granada

• Pre-caliente el horno a 300 ºF.  En un tazón grande, combine avena , semillas de calabaza, anacardos, semillas de chía, canela y sal.
• En un tazón separado, revuelva el jarabe de arce y el aceite.
• Verter los ingredientes húmedos sobre la avena y mezclarlos bien y luego verter la granola en una bandeja de hornear y extender uniformemente con una espátula.
• Hornear durante 25 minutos.
• A continuación, agregue el coco rallado y mezclar bien, y hornear de nuevo durante otros 20 minutos o hasta dorado.
• Verter los arándanos, las pasas y las semillas de granada, mezclar bien.
• Deje que la granola se enfríe completamente, luego guárdela en un recipiente hermético a temperatura ambiente.
• Disfrute en un bol de acai, con yogures, o tal como es.
• También puede servir con frutas frescas y crema batida de coco.
