Tofu Corn Fritters

I am so excited to share this new recipe, I have to admit that I was pumped to make this new recipe because it has good flavors, however, as soon as I test it I got more excited because it tasted way better than what I pictured on my head. Here it is, I hope you like it and let me know what you think.


Tofu Corn Fritters Recipe

  • ½ of a tofu package
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 minced garlic glove
  • 2 tbsp of white wine vinegar
  • ¾ of a cup of all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup of almond milk
  • 1 can of corn
  • Few springs of parsley
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • Sea Salt to taste


  • Put the tofu with vinegar, onions and garlic on a bowl and chill over night or at least 4 hours.


  • On a large bowl add the tofu and smash, then sift the flour with salt set aside. Don’t toss the onion.
  • On a blender place 1 can of corn without the water, cilantro, milk, olive oil and all the onion and garlic from the tofu with and blend till puree.


  • Then add the corn pure to the flour and mix all.


  • On a pan drizzle some cooking spray on  a non-stick fryin pan and add a small amount of the batter just like if you are cooking mini pancakes.  Cook one side for 2-4 minutes, till golden brown and then turn over.
  • Cook on batches.


  • Serve with the cilantro sauce (Recipe on bottom)


Cilantro Sauce

  • 3 tbsp of vegan mayo
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • ½ can of corn
  • Few springs of parsley
  • ½ tsp of garlic power
  • Pinch sea salt

On a small bowl mix all ingredients together and serve on top of the fritters.


Estoy tan emocionada de compartir esta nueva receta, tengo que admitir que contenta para hacer esta nueva receta porque tiene buenos sabores, sin embargo, tan pronto la pruebe me puse más emocionada porque sabía mucho mejor de lo que imaginé en mi cabeza. Aquí está, espero que te guste.
Receta de Boñuelos  de maíz de Tofu
• ½ paquete de tofu
• 1 cebolla, cortada en rodajas
• 1 cabeza de ajo picado
• 2 cucharadas de vinagre de vino blanco
• ¾ de taza de harina de todo tipo
• 2/3 taza de leche de almendras
• 1 lata de maíz
• Pocas ramas de cilantro
• 1/3 taza de aceite de oliva
• Sal marina a gusto
• Poner soja con vinagre, cebolla y ajo en un recipiente y enfriar durante la noche o por lo menos 4 horas.
• En un tazón grande, agregue la soja y majar , luego agrege la harina con la sal. No tirar la cebolla.
• En una licuadora, colocar 1 lata de maíz sin el agua, el cilantro, la leche, el aceite de oliva y toda la cebolla y el ajo del tofu y mezclar hasta puré.
• Agregue el maíz a la harina y mezcle todo.
• En una sartén, rocíe un poco de aerosol para cocinar en una sartén antiadherente y añada una pequeña cantidad de masa como si estuviera cocinando mini panqueques. Cocine un lado por 2-4 minutos, hasta dorar marrón y luego dar la vuelta.
• Cocine en bonches.
• Servir con la salsa de cilantro (Receta en la parte inferior)

Salsa de cilantro
• 3 cucharadas de mayonesa vegana
• 3 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
• ½ lata de maíz
• Pocas fuentes de cilantro
• ½ cucharadita de ajo en polvo
• Una pizca de sal marina
En un tazón pequeño mezclar todos los ingredientes y servir en la parte superior de los buñuelos.
